MER is proud to support our Non-Profit of the Month for October 2023 – Friends of El Paso County Nature Centers.
The Friends of El Paso County Nature Centers (the Friends Organization) works closely with El Paso County Parks to support the mission of the Bear Creek and Fountain Creek Nature Centers. These centers are integral resources for connecting Southern Coloradans to the natural and cultural resources in the El Paso County region.
The Friends Organization acts as stewards for both parks and the environment, supporting the nature centers with over 6000 volunteer hours and donations for operational support annually.
